Pullin' on the heartstring...

Sometimes we need a little kick start to get the heart ready for love...

I like the direction of this piece. I just need to clean up some of the rough edges. Maybe simplify the hands a little more. I'd like to make it a little more graphic, but keep some of the cross hatching...zzzzzzzzz...I just bored myself to sleep.

**** Update ****

Actually, I take that back. The more I look at it, the more I don't like it. It's sloppy, choppy, and something else. It just looks like a mess...Back to the 'ol drawing board!

well, I'd argue you were a little too easy on yourself at first and a little hard there at the end. Sometimes I get depressed if my most recent writing isn't as good as something I've done in the past. But (at least for me), not every new thing is gonna be the best I've done. But at least its a "new thing." Thats what's important to me.

Hey Lodo...

I can never find the happy medium with my work. I either really like it or really hate it. Maybe that's a good thing...how, I have no clue.

This is another one your pieces were you have an excellent concept. I wouldn't say it is choppy, but it might have benefited from using such heavy black lines; just a thought/opinion.

"Don't let it bring you down."
