Some experimentalization (my wordification). I wanted to mix some of my line work, some textured paper I bought, and some graphic elements. I like the direction of this.
Here I included a thick black outline, like my other pieces. Not sure which one I like best.

Nice one, Mike, or nice two to be more accurate. I prefer the thin-lined test tube - it's more in keeping with the inkpot. Looking forward to seeing more of your experimentalizations.

I'm partial to both. I like the thick outline, but maybe remove it from the "liquid" pouring out.
I really like the lines on the first one. I guess I don't always have to be in line with my other work. As long as the lines are there, I'm happy. But then again, I fight with myself on how to differentiate my lines...
