To each their own
Traditional vs. Non-traditional. Whatever works for ya, go with it. I love working both with ink and the Wacom tablet. As of late, I've done a lot of my "inking" with the computer.

Here is a direction I'm thinking of taking. It needs more work, but I like it. I would like to add more angular lines to contrast with the flowing ones. It's another take on the image from 01/13/10. Hmmm....
